Join the Cyber Defense Institute at Olivet!
Are you curious about technology, computers, or how hackers break into systems? Do you want to learn how to stop them? The Cyber Defense Institute at Olivet invites high school students to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity — one of the fastest-growing and most in-demand career fields today.
As a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NCAE-CD) designated institution, Olivet is nationally recognized for excellence in cybersecurity education. This means you'll be learning from a program trusted and respected across the country.
Sessions are led by Olivet cybersecurity professors and members of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), giving you access to real experts and mentors in the field.
What You'll Learn
Through engaging lessons and hands-on labs, you'll explore:
• How computer networks work
• Common cyber threats and attack techniques
• Ways to defend systems from cyberattacks
• Real-world cybersecurity tools and skills

• When: Every Wednesday, 4:30–6:00 PM
• Dates: March 18 – April 15
• Where: Olivet Nazarene University, Reed Hall of Science

• Who Can Attend: Any high school-aged student
