Summer Orientation I

Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 7:00 PM - Friday, June 10, 2022 at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time
Up to 3 guests allowed
Location: Main Campus

Description:

During Orientation, you will meet with your freshman faculty advisor and be introduced to members of the staff and administration. You will also meet fellow students and explore our residence halls. If you do not already have a roommate by this date, Orientation provides a great opportunity to find one.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Orientation activities begin Thursday, June 09, with a Welcome Event at 7:00 p.m. in Centennial Chapel, followed by a dessert reception for families and a late-night event for students. Thursday will give you an opportunity to begin meeting your fellow classmates, and will be especially helpful if you are still looking to connect with a roommate. If you request lodging for the weekend, please check in at the front desk in Ludwig Center to receive your Orientation housing assignments and keys. If you do not require Olivet lodging, you can start at the Welcome Event by 7:00 p.m.

Check-in for Orientation — including those who arrived on Thursday — is Friday, from 8:30–10:00 a.m. in the Centennial Chapel lobby. Orientation will conclude by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10.

ORIENTATION HOUSING

Free Orientation housing is provided for students in the on-campus residence halls. Linens (pillow, blanket, sheets, towel, and washcloth) will be supplied. Room keys may be picked up in Ludwig Center on Wednesday or Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – midnight, and on Friday morning in the Centennial Chapel during check-in hours. After Friday morning, housing information will be available at the Ludwig Center Information Desk.

We have limited housing available for parents and families. We would encourage you to check out our Hotel options list with Olivet discounts located on the Orientation webpage. To request one of our limited on-campus housing options, please email AdmissionsEvents@olivet.edu and we will follow up with more information.
